Routines, Ideals and Economics of Anesthesia Service.*

H. Boyd Stewart, M.D.

Anesthetist, Tulsa, Okla.

Abstract

AFTER CAREFUL THOUGHT and consideration of the subject matter to be presented in a paper of this character, I decided at length to present some generalities, but for the most part to deal with the routines and economics of the anesthesia service in St. John's Hospital in Tulsa, Oklahoma. The title of this paper was suggested to me by the program committee of this meeting, and in order that it be kept within its own confines, reference must be made to the service of which the writer is familiar and of which he is a part.
