Anesthesia in Surgery Under Tropical Climatic Conditions.*

Abstract

THE CLIMATE OF HAVANA and in general of Cuba with slight variations, considering the temperature of the air, is classified as a tropical climate by its geographical situation; but on account of the constant trade winds it is a mild climate and is much cooler than others of the Tropics. The narrow aspect of the Island extending from the S. E. to the N. W. is nearly perpendicular to these currents of air of the trade winds.
