Anesthetist, Boston, Mass.
Abstract
THIS PAPER IS NOT INTENDED to cover the entire subject of spinal anesthesia even superficially. At the Lahey Clinic we have used spinal as the usual anesthesia for abdominal operations for a period of about two and one-- half years, and during this time we have arrived at some practical ideas and convictions about certain details of the subject. It is about these details only that I wish to speak.
