Anesthetist, Washington, D. C.
Abstract
THOSE PRESENT ARE FAMILIAR with the many advantages of ethylene-oxygen anesthesia. But I am sorry to say that there seem to be many surgeons and anesthetists who know little or nothing about ethylene-oxygen anesthesia, at least there are many parts of the country where it is not used. So you have to assume that they are not properly informed about the good qualities of ethylene or they are not using ethylene because of some unwarranted prejudice.
