Countries, Rooms, and Plants, but Not Mammalian Cells

To the Editor:
In the article "Perioperative Fluid Management and Clinical Outcomes in Adults" (1), the authors make references to the "cell wall." Mammalian cells do not possess a cell wall. As such, I suspect the authors should have stated "cell membrane."
