In the January 2006 issue, in the article by Ilfeld et al., "Total Knee Arthroplasty as an Overnight-Stay Procedure Using Continuous Femoral Nerve Blocks at Home: A Prospective Feasibility Study" (Anesth Analg 2006;102:87–90)
, a typographical error was made during the composition process. On page 87, in the first sentence of the introduction, the term "30 m" (meters) was mistakenly rendered as "30 min." The sentence should read, "In the United States, criteria for home discharge after total knee arthroplasty (TKA) usually include the requirements that a) pain be controlled with only oral analgesics, and b) patients be able to ambulate at least 30 m so they may function at home (1)." The authors and the publisher apologize for the error.
