ERRATUM

In the April 2006 issue of Anesthesia & Analgesia, in the article by Mizuno et al., "Startling-Effect-Independent Lusitropism Index in Canine Left Ventricle: Logistic Time Constant" (Anesth Analg 2006;102:1032–9) , there is an error in Dr. Mizuno’s affiliation. Dr. Mizuno is affiliated with the Departments of Cardiovascular Physiology, Anesthesiology, and Resuscitology, Okayama University Graduate School of Medicine, Dentistry and Pharmaceutical Scienes, Okayama, Japan, and the Department of Anesthesiology, Faculty of Medicine, The University of Tokyo, Tokyo, Japan, but not with the Department of Cardiovascular Internal Medicine.

There is also an error in the caption for Figure 3 on page 1036. In the second line of the caption, the phrase "the isovolumic left ventricular (LV) relaxation pressure curves" should be corrected to read "for isovolumic left ventricular (LV) relaxation pressure curves."
