"Spontaneous Echocardiographic Contrast Indicating Successful Endoleak Management" by Swaminathan et al.
Data Files:
- Echo Loop 1
-
Mid-esophageal short axis view of the aorta at the level of the proximal descending thoracic aorta showing the position of the aneurysmal sac and the endovascular device. Spontaneous echocardiographic contrast (SEC) seen within the sac is less echodense than surrounding tissue.
- Echo Loop 2
-
Mid-esophageal short axis view of the proximal descending thoracic aorta with color flow Doppler demonstrating flow into the aneurysmal sac (between 6 and 9'o clock position). Note that the color scales are reduced to allow aliasing for increased sensitivity to low flows.
- Echo Loop 3
-
Mid-esophageal short axis view of the aorta at the same level as figure 1, after deployment of the third device, showing increased opacification of the echo contrast in the aneurysmal sac indicating successful closure of the endoleak. The echodensity within the sac is greater than the surrounding tissue.
