ERRATA

ERRATUM

In the April 2007 issue of Anesthesia & Analgesia, in the article by De Hert et al., "The Effects of Levosimendan in Cardiac Surgery Patients with Poor Left Ventricular Function" (Anesth Analg 2007;104:766–73) , there were errors in several dosages given for milrinone, levosimendan, dobutamine, and remifentanil. Due to a conversion error, "µg" was given as "mg" and the errors were not caught at the copyediting and proofreading stages. The author and publisher regret the error.

The following is a list of the occurrences:

- Page 766, in the Abstract, in the Methods section, "milrinone 0.5 mg · kg–1 · min–1" should be "milrinone 0.5 µg · kg–1 · min–1", "levosimendan 0.1 mg · kg–1 · min–1" should be "levosimendan 0.1 µg · kg-1 · min–1", and "dobutamine 5 mg · kg–1 · min–1" should be "dobutamine 5 µg · kg–1 · min–1".
- Page 767, in the section Study Groups, second paragraph, "dobutamine ... 5 mg · kg–1 · min–1" should be "dobutamine ... 5 µg · kg–1 · min–1", "milrinone ... 0.5 mg · kg–1 · min–1" should be "milrinone ... 0.5 µg · kg–1 · min–1", and "levosimendan ... 0.1 mg · kg–1 · min–1" should be "levosimendan ... 0.1 µg · kg–1 · min–1".
- Page 767, in the section Anesthesia and Perioperative Procedures, second paragraph, "remifentanil ... 0.3 mg · kg–1 · min–1" should be "remifentanil ... 0.3 µg · kg–1 · min–1", "remifentanil 0.2–0.4 mg · kg–1 · min–1" should be "remifentanil 0.2–0.4 µg · kg–1 · min–1", and "remifentanil (0.2–0.4 mg · kg–1 · min–1)" should be "remifentanil (0.2–0.4 µg · kg–1 · min–1)".
- Page 767, in the section Inotrope and Vasoactive Drug Therapy, first paragraph, "dobutamine was increased to a maximum of 10 mg · kg–1 · min–1" should be "dobutamine was increased to a maximum of 10 µg · kg–1 · min–1".
- Page 768, in the section Extubation and Discharge Protocols, first paragraph, "Patients were sedated for 2 h with remifentanil 0.3–0.5 mg · kg–1 · min–1" should be "Patients were sedated for 2 h with remifentanil 0.3–0.5 µg · kg–1 · min–1".
