In the March 2007 issue of Anesthesia & Analgesia, in the Brief Report by Habib et al., "A Comparison of Ondansetron with Promethazine for Treating Postoperative Nausea and Vomiting in Patients Who Received Prophylaxis with Ondansetron: A Retrospective Database Analysis" (Anesth Analg 2007;104:548–51)
, there were a number of errors in Tables 1 and 2. While the numbers in the tables were correct, the formatting to indicate whether the values were mean (SD) or number (%) was not accurate for the following in Table 1: "Females" in the "Promethazine" group; "Duration of surgery" in both groups; and "Intraoperative opioids" in both groups; and in Table 2, for the "Complete response to first rescue antiemetic" in both groups. The publisher regrets the errors.
The corrected Tables 1 and 2 are given below.
