"A Hypo-Echoic, Intramyocardial Space: Echocardiographic Characteristics of an Intramyocardial Dissecting Hematoma" by Slepian et al.

    Video clip 1: Trans gastric short axis view of the left ventricle, revealing the hypo-echoic space in the lateral wall segments of the left ventricle. Notice the ultrasound reflection of the epicardium of the anterior and lateral segments.
  • Echo Loop 2 -
    Video clip 2: Modified mid esophageal four chamber view of the left ventricle, demonstrating a dilated apex and a hypo-echoic space of the anterolateral wall. There is a thin tissue layer adherent to this space, representing the epicardium.
