"Thrombotic Occlusion of a Bileaflet, Mechanical Mitral Valve" by Pybus

    Video: Composite, 2D sector scans of the valve before and after replacement. In both cases the prosthesis has been imaged along the hinge line of the valve. The ‘zoomed’ images were obtained from the mid-oesophageal position at an array angle of approximately 90 degrees. The corresponding colour Doppler study of the valve before replacement can be found at www.manbit.com/ERS/ERSIndex.asp?R=449.
