Correction

In the September 2004 article by Bar-Yosef et al. (2004;99:641-6), "Prevention of Cerebral Hyperthermia During Cardiac Surgery by Limiting On-Bypass Rewarming in Combination with Post-Bypass Body Surface Warming: A Feasibility Study," there was a printing error in the last sentence of the abstract. The word "hypothermia" was used instead of "hyperthermia."

The sentence should read, "We conclude that limiting rewarming during CPB, when used in combination with surface warming, can prevent cerebral hyperthermia while minimizing the risk of postoperative hypothermia."

The publisher regrets the error.
