My primary professional field of interest is obstetrical anesthesia and analgesia. My clinical research deals with labor analgesia, pharmacology of local anesthetics, opiods and other adjvant drugs and labor pain physiology.
I'm the chairman of the scientific subcommittee for obstetric anesthesia of the European Society of Anesthesiology.
