Professional Interests
I am interested in (a) acute pain management which includes the use of (b) regional anesthesia and analgesia techniques as well as (c) the [clinical] use of necessary potent pharmacologic agents of the analgesic and local anesthetic sort.  (d) I use daily rounds and hospital consultations as a model of specialty practice through which I hope to demonstrate to residents and fellows elements of the 6 core competencies.  (e) I still do chronic pain work, thus I have responsibility for patient evaluation and treatment (mostly of the non-interventional sort, now).  (f) I was trained long enough ago that I also still work in the operating room some!

Conflicts of Interest
I have no conflicts of interest
