Professional Interests
Although I am getting closer to achieving Emeritus Professor status('08), I am still quite active clinically. My activity consists of to some extent cardiac Anesthesia, to a large extent Thoracic, and also activities which John Tinker would ascribe to being a "Regular Old Anesthesiologist (ROA). The latter venue allows a great deal of leeway in dealing with one area of interest, namely Airway management. Although no research is in progress, I still retain a fervent interest in Respiratory Physiology, in particular Respiratory Mechanics. The latter area is one of great neglect among practicing anesthesiologists.

Conflicts of Interest
I have no commercial conflicts of interest.
