My professional interests are regional anesthesia and pain management. This has led me to form a basic science research group to investigate the molecular mechanisms of pain transmission. I am also currently the clinical director of the acupuncture service of the National University Hospital. I am particularly interested in the role of acupuncture in the treatment of musculoskeletal pain.
