Professional Interests
My professional interests are centered on regional anesthesia techniques, postoperative use of regional blocks, acute postoperative pain and postoperative rehabilitation. This has led me to clinical studies on the interest of regional blocks for postoperative pain relief, rehabilitation and ambulatory surgery mainly in adult or pediatric orthopedic patients. My experimental research fields are myotoxic and neurotoxic effects of local anesthetics as well as the study of respiratory muscles impairment.

Conflicts of Interest
Within the past 5 years I ahve consulted for Astra Zeneca , Baxter, Sanofi Avantis, Janssen Cilag , B Braun and GSK. I have two ongoing consulting relationship with Astra Zeneca and Baxter .
